Call for Nominations: The Tom McCann Memorial Trophy 2025

Students, faculty, and staff of St. Thomas University are invited to make nominations for the Tom McCann Memorial Trophy.
The trophy honours Thomas Stephen McCann, a student who made an outstanding contribution to the St. Thomas University community before his untimely death in 1969.
The award is presented to a St. Thomas University graduating student who best portrays the spirit of the institution by their contributions to university and student affairs, and through their leadership, character, and personality. All nominees should have at least a B average. The award is accompanied by a monetary prize of $500.
The recipient is determined by a Selection Committee composed of the President, Vice-President (Academic and Research), Registrar, Associate Vice-President (Enrolment Management), Grad Class President, and a Faculty Member (selected by the President). If the Grad Class President is nominated, then the President will select another student representative as an alternate.
